Peter Cattizone was born and raised in a traditional Italian home on the waterfront the North End of Boston. As the son of native Italian restaurateurs, his creative tendencies began early in life. At the age of fifteen, he entered Boston University School of Fine Arts in the study of classical singing with the world renowned professor of music and voice, David Blair McClosky. His next creative turn was to the visual arts, studying at the SMFA School of the Museum of Fine Arts and the MA College of Art and Design where his focus was in casting and foundry. Combining a wide spectrum of creative mediums, Cattizone has taught concept and design throughout the United States and abroad. In recent years a majority of his work has emanated from commissions.
